Account Information: Name, email address, and password (encrypted) when you register.
Usage Data: Topics you enter for caption generation, niches selected, captions generated, and platform preferences.
Payment Information: Payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not store card details. We only store transaction IDs and plan information.
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and access logs for security purposes.
Communications: Emails you send to our support team.

Anthropic Claude AI: Caption generation prompts are sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
Razorpay: Payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's privacy policy.
Hostinger: Web hosting provider.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Your Rights Under DPDPA 2023

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

CaptionWala is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users via email of any material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
