Our Promise: We believe in fair treatment. If CaptionWala doesn't work for you, we want to make it right.
1. Free Plan
The Free plan requires no payment and therefore no refund is applicable.
2. Paid Plans — Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
- 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied within 7 days of your first purchase, you may request a full refund.
- Technical Issues: If the service is non-functional due to technical issues on our end for more than 48 continuous hours, you are eligible for a pro-rated refund.
- Accidental Double Payment: Full refund if you were charged twice for the same plan.
- Plan Upgrade: If you upgrade from a lower plan to a higher plan, the unused portion of your current plan will be credited toward the new plan.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
- Refund requests made after 7 days of purchase
- Accounts suspended due to Terms of Service violations
- Captions already generated and used
- Renewal charges where cancellation was not made before renewal date
- Partial month usage
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email support@captionwala.in with subject "Refund Request"
- Include your registered email, Razorpay payment ID, and reason for refund
- We will respond within 2 business days
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days via original payment method
5. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
6. Chargebacks
We request that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension. We cooperate fully with payment processors to resolve disputes fairly.
